Hill Country Organics is a boutique and veteran-owned manufacturer of quality organic soil inputs. We are dedicated to helping growers of all types improve their soil and maximize their results. With a focus on sustainability, we strive to reduce the use of chemical fertility and toxic pesticides while improving the profitability and quality of yield.
We work with home gardeners, hobbyists, organic growers and farmers to improve soil health and reduce fertility and water usage to grow better, healthier plants. We apply emerging sciences and premium organic compounds to enrich the microbiology in healthy soil that provide plants with optimal nutrition.
HCO is bridging the gap between conventional growing and a practical, living soil "organic" practices by making sustainable growing easy, effective and cost-efficient.
Who We Are:
Sam Brown - A Texan by choice, Sam brings 30 years of senior level marketing experience to HCO. Sam has a long history of developing digital marketing and direct-to-consumer strategies which has allowed HCO to successfully launch new products online before transitioning to traditional retail distribution. Sam is adept at site development and PPC, search, social media and content marketing and has developed digital strategies for North American and Pan Asian product launches. Sam resides in Boerne with his wife, two sons and three dogs.
Corey Kiefer - A native of North Dakota, Corey has spent the last 20+ years travelling across Asia (and a variety of other exotic locales) vetting new technologies and exploring natural farming practices. Corey gives HCO global reach and is responsible for much of our truly unique product offerings. Corey brings world class product sourcing opportunities and has opened up distribution channels for American-made organic inputs in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and The Philippines. When he is not on a plane, Corey is based in Fargo and develops our Midwest retail operations.
